My first Covid isolation song video – recorded in 2020 and published early 2021 – duration: 3mins 13secs.
Live performances are somewhat limited by this wretched Covid-19 virus so I’ve joined the global move by artists to take our performances into cyberspace both to entertain and try to earn a few bob to help pay a girl's bills! I've set this video's payment so that you can pay whatever you want, so long as it is at least $1.00 – just type or scroll the amount you want to pay.
"Shoes" composed and written by yours truly, me, Karen J White, is here performed by me on a makeshift stage thrown together at home in rural Queensland (Australia).
I haven’t written many songs throughout my music career and this was one of the first and remains a favourite; I asked for advice on song-writing from friends who are highly competent at the art and they all said “stick to a subject you know a lot about or are really passionate about.” I covered both bases.
"Shoes" appears in various freeview video clips which are accessible via my website if you're interested. It's also available here as view/pay on demand of course and in my professional studio produced albums (CD and digital) available via my website.
