Having long been a great fan and follower of the late, great British singer/songwriter Kirsty I have put together a live show “My Tribute to Kirsty MacColl”. The show was written as a two Act performance, of about 45 minutes per Act and I subsequently ‘trimmed’ this to make a 60 minute one Act show specifically for Festivals – I performed this single Act show a couple of times at the 2020 Perth FringeWorld Festival, then had four shows at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2020, and had twelve shows planned for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival that year … which of course did not happen! I still hope to take the show to the Edinburgh Fringe one day.
This bundle comprises a copy of each of my CD “In These Shoes?”, my CD “Soho Square” and my booklet ”A potted history of the life and career of Kirsty MacColl”. These two albums form the basis for the playlist for the live shows, and the booklet was written specifically to accompany the CDs; I believe this collection gives a good overview of Kirsty’s musical career and showcases a great range of songs.
